From April 10 to 12, the heart of Logistics and Transportation was beating at the Logistics & Transports Expo in Thessaloniki!

Through our participation, we had the opportunity to showcase the range of our services and to reconnect with long-standing partners — since 1956 — as well as meet newer collaborators.

As part of the exhibition, in an interview with Ms. Mary Efthymiatou, the CEO of BKS LOGISTICS, Mr. Vasilis Zachartzis, highlighted the necessity for companies in the chemical industry to comply with the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road, known as ADR. He also emphasized key points that all involved parties (Sender – Carrier – Receiver) must adhere to.

At the same time, the participation of students from the Department of Supply Chain Management of the International Hellenic University, based in Katerini, was especially promising for the future of the sector. We had extensive discussions with them about the need for well-trained professionals in the logistics job market and the growth opportunities the ever-expanding industry offers for future executives.
